Zestia was founded by cousins George and Paul, who grew up eating authentic Greek food at their family dinner tables. Their vision was simple: bring those same beloved recipes, sauces, seasonings, and the marinades out of the home and into the streets of Metro Detroit. "We use the same ingredients we grew up eating at our dinner table," George has said. "All the sauces, all the seasonings, all the meats, all the marinades, they are very familiar to us and very common in our homes." What started as a single location in Warren in 2015 has grown into a beloved Metro Detroit restaurant, with three restaurants and a food truck that stays booked weeks in advance.
